"Solar water pumping allows you to place a well anywhere on your property. Renewable and free solar energy can provide you with fresh water every day."

Solar Pump Systems

A Solar Energy pump system can operate entirely independently, not requiring a connection to a power or gas grid at all. Systems can therefore be installed in remote locations (like holiday log cabins), making it more practical and cost-effective than the supply of utility electricity to a new site.

Two energy sources: Solar panels for when the sun is shining; A wind turbine for when the wind is blowing

The SQFlex pumps have the ability to run on any supply voltage ranging from 35 volts to 300 volts (AC or DC)! There is no startup surge. The CU 200 maintains two-way communication with the pump and monitors the operating conditions.

Siam Green Power International Co. Ltd. provides Solar Power Systems for private homes and industries.

We offer Design, Project Management, Installation and Maintenance of Solar Power and Renewable Energy Systems.

Our systems are mainly produced in Thailand based on advanced German Technology.

Affordable: Solar pumping systems outperform traditional wired systems hands-down. In a solar installation, initial costs are incurred for the self-contained energy collecting and storage system. But after that, the energy itself is free! When compared to the traditional system's costs for cable, trenching, metering equipment and construction, plus electric bills continuing forever, the solar system's cost advantages can be dramatic and immediate.

Reliable: GPI solar powered pump systems require very little maintenance. No longer do you have to rely on the notoriously black-out prone state grid. The solar pumps are also easier to operate and require much less maintenance than diesel pumps.

Green: By using solar powered pump systems, you are making a conscious choice to help the environment by using a renewable source of energy. The solar power is generated where it is needed, there is no long cabling to produce and to install. It does not pollute our air by releasing carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxide, sulphur dioxide or mercury into the atmosphere like many traditional forms of electrical generation does.

The GPI Solar Pump System has two energy sources:
-> Solar panels for when the sun is shining;
-> A wind turbine for when the wind is blowing.

The system allows solar and wind energy to be stored as water in a reservoir. The added benefits are even greater reliability and water whenever it's needed.

The GPI Solar Pump System is a total concept that can be tailored to any set of individual requirements. By examining some variables, GPI can put together the perfect system for any purpose.

All GPI needs to know is the location, the water table depth, and how much water is needed - and GPI will be able to find the most efficient energy source for your system.

The GPI Solar Pump System is made up of the SQFlex System, containing either the solar panel or the wind turbine - or both - and the pump, the CU 200 interface box and the level switch:

  • The SQFlex pumps have built-in protection features that protect the pump itself and in many cases also the well. Among these features are protection against dry-running, overloading and overheating, automatic restart when water returns to the well or when the motor temperature returns to the safety range, and continuous load condition and voltage monitoring.
    • The SQFlex pumps have the ability to run on any supply voltage ranging from 35 volts to 300 volts (AC or DC)! There is no startup surge.
    • As the pump goes through the startup sequence it verifies that is is indeed in water and evaluates the power available, it then starts slowly testing the power supply until it reaches a maximum speed 3000 RPM or a maximum of either 900 watts or 7A current draw.
    • The SQFlex can run from DC power or it can be powered by an inverter or generator.
    • It can lift water from wells as deep as 600 feet (the lawyers say 400) or can move as much as 75 GPM.
So whether you are powering the pump from a PV array, a wind turbine, a generator, the inverter or any combination thereof, the net result is the same, water!
  • The SQFlex wind turbine produces high voltage DC output to power the SQFlex pump at maximum efficiency. A start-up wind speed of only 7 MPH and a peak output of 900W make the SQFlex wind turbine an excellent choice in a wide variety of locations.
  • The SQFlex solar panel module is specifically designed to power the SQFlex system. It produces a high DC voltage of 140 VDC, reducing losses through cables and providing peak efficiency for the SQFlex pump. Each SQFlex solar panel module is designed to be connected in parallel with other SQFlex solar panel modules. This allows the SQFlex system to be optimized to your location & water requirements.
  • The CU 200 is a user-friendly interface box that maintains two-way communication with the pump and monitors the operating conditions. Built-in diagnostics indicate faults and dry-running, and display operating status power consumption and level switch input.
  • The Level Switch enables you to save energy as you save water. With a level switch inside the storage tank connected to the CU 200 control unit, the pump knows when the tank is full and shuts itself off.

In the middle of nowhere, the only things you can depend upon are wind and daylight. The GPI Solar Pump System is fully operational already using only one of these renewable energy sources.

Using a combination of both wind and sun gives even more security and greater peace of mind. The wind often blows when the sun is not shining (night, storms, winter, etc.). The sun often shines during periods with low wind (summer, wind lulls due to high-pressure systems, etc.).

GPI's SQFlex Solar and Wind systems are reliable, low-maintenance and cost-effective. In addition, the systems are sustainable and totally environmental sound.

Investing in solar power and renewable energy now builds energy independence and moves us towards a healthier future.
