The solar heat exchange and storage tank Solar Collector Panel

Siam Green Power International Co. Ltd. provides Solar Power Systems for private homes and industries.

We offer Design, Project Management, Installation and Maintenance of Solar Power and Renewable Energy Systems.

Our systems are mainly produced in Thailand based on advanced German Technology.

Reliable: GPI Solar water heaters are designed to last many many years (5 years guarantee!) with little or no maintenance needed.

Green: By heating your water with the sun, you help preserve our natural resources and reduce your household's emissions of the pollutants responsible for global warming and acid rain.

Heating water for bathing, dishwashing, cleaning, pool and spa is one of the most practical and cost-effective uses for solar energy.

The GPI Solar Water Heating System is made up of solar collection panels, heat transfer fluid, piping, and the storage tank with the heat exchanger.

Available as a passive system using the natural flow of gravity - hot water rises, cold water sinks - and as an active system using controls and a pump to circulate the heat transfer fluid.

The sun heats the heat transfer fluid in the collector. In the passive solar system the hot heat transfer fluid rises to the storage tank, while heavier cold water sinks down to the collector - there are no pumps, controls, or moving parts. It uses the natural flow of gravity (thermosiphon action) to move the hot water into a solar storage tank located above the panel, therefore a circulating pump is not needed.

The heat supply is held in the hot water storage tank to be used when needed. The hot heat transfer fluid circulates in tubes through the heat exchanger, transferring the heat from the fluid to the potable water.

The simplistic nature of these systems provides the most reliable and cost-effective solution for solar water heating.

Think Economics. Think Environment. Think Solar.

The GPI Solar collector panel is highly efficient and easy to install as well as featuring a lightweight design. Multiple units can get connected together to produce greater volumes of hot water.

It can be utilised where heating is needed, for making hot water, relieving the load in a heating system, heating a swimming pool, for cooking and even for cooling.

GPI solar collectors are very sturdy and any means of transport can therefore be used. The Solar trend collector weighs only 20 Kg and is one of the lightest units of this type in the world.

Thanks to the light weight and the intelligent construction it can be easily self installed by Do It Yourself oriented customers.

The transparent cover is made of sturdy plastic. It is highly transparent and rock solid (no insurance needed) as well as UV-proofed for at least 10 years. It is installed in a floating configuration in a anodized aluminum frame.

The Absorber has a highly selective titanium coating (TINOX), a German system, which has been tried and tested for decades (10 years guarantee!). The Tinox Absorber guarantees hot water even in low sun conditions. Tinox is regarded as one of the leading brands in the world.

Plug type connectors, this means no soldering - only screws ! Several collectors can simply be connected by plugging them together.

The lightweight housing is made from fiber plastic material. Anodized weather proofed aluminum frame. Double web plastic base plate

The insulation is manufactured by Bradford Fibertex Rockwool, one of the worlds leading insulation material manufacturers.

Special features: Ultra light weight, fully recyclable, each component can be replaced separately in the event of damage. 10 years guarantee on the TINOX absorber!

The GPI solar heat exchanger storage tank is especially designed for closed loop solar systems.

Only when you are opening a hot water tap, the household water is flowing through the heat exchangers at the bottom and at the top of the storage tank. This way the household water is getting warm only at the time you use it. It is neither kept warm for a longer period, nor it is in direct contact with the heat transfer fluid in the hot water storage tank.

Unwanted bacteria and other germs grow best at warm temperatures, however here the produced warm water is not stored, but consumed immediately. Bacteria and germs have no time to grow.

This results in the hot household water having the same good quality as the cold water!

The GPI solar heat exchanger storage tank is very maintenance friendly, there is no need to clean it every year.

Investing in solar power and renewable energy now builds energy independence and moves us towards a healthier future.

Commercial facilities with high hot water demands are great candidates for solar hot water (restaurants, bakeries, beauty salons, health clubs, hotels). A commercial installation generally makes use of the same system design and components as residential systems. GPI can help you determine the best application of solar power for your site.
